Back on Track is a Northern Territory Government alternative sentencing and youth diversion program that provides alternatives to detention and pathways to divert young people (8-17-year olds) away from the youth justice system. Back on Track is delivered in Alice Springs by Congress and Saltbush Social Enterprises Limited.
The program provides a holistic and culturally appropriate service model to support the young person to get back on track, take responsibility for their actions, understand the consequences and equip them to lead productive lives.
It provides early intervention strategies to direct at risk young people away from the youth justice system, educate them how to make better life choices and re-integrate them back into pro-social activities.
