To apply to conduct research in partnership with Congress, complete and submit a research application form.
To discuss or develop an initial research concept in collaboration with Congress, complete and submit an expression of interest or contact the research manager.
Research applications will be considered against the Congress Research Assessment Criteria Guidelines.

Applicants will be notified by the Congress Research Manager within one month of the relevant Research Sub-Committee meeting date.
All Congress Board-approved research projects must submit Six-monthly Progress Reports throughout the project.
All Congress Board-approved research projects must submit a Final Report within six months of completing the project.
Submissions and enquiries should be sent to research@caac.org.au four (4) weeks prior to the research subcommittee meeting (see Congress Board Meeting Dates)
External researchers intending to publish or share results of Congress approved-research in any public forums should notify the Research Manager at least 4 weeks in advance using the Research Publications Request Form.
Specific requirements around publications will be outlined in the Research agreement with the Research institution.
An updated Knowledge Translation Plan should also be shared with the Research Manager, outlining how the research findings will be shared with relevant stakeholders including the community and health service staff.
