CONGRESS RESPIRATORY CLINIC

Are you feeling unwell, like you have a cold or flu?

Congress are now doing tests for coronavirus for people who have very mild symptoms.

This doesn’t mean that we think you have the virus, but it is the best way – along with physical distancing, proper coughing and hand washing and those other things we have been doing- for us to keep Central Australia safe from coronavirus.

Protect our mob – get a swab!

How to get tested:

Congress clients, all Aboriginal people

  • Between 8.30-11am weekdays you can drive up to the Respiratory Clinic 127 Todd Street (old Memo Club, next door to the second hand shop). Beep your horn to let them know you are there. A clinician will come and talk to you and arrange for you be tested.

 OR

  • Between 8.30-5pm weekdays Call 1800 514 400. The doctor will talk to you and arrange for you to be tested.  If you cannot get to the clinic, we may be able to come to you.
Non-Aboriginal people wishing to be tested should call their doctor to get a referral. They will ring Congress directly to make arrangements for you to be tested.
