Congress Medical Director, Dr Sam Heard has been awarded the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners General Practice supervisor of the year for South Australian and the Northern Territory and announced as a finalist for national award.
“Dr Sam Heard has been integral in the delivery of education to doctors and other medical staff for over 20 years, particularly through extensive training of GP registrars. Congress is very proud of Dr Sam’s success. He has made an outstanding contribution to improving the education of medical professionals and is a deserving recipient of General Practice supervisor of the year,” Congress, Chief Executive Officer, Donna Ah Chee said.
Dr Sam Heard provides clinical leadership to Congress’ 13 clinics in Alice Springs and across six remote Central Australian communities.
