Congress receives funding contract for Stolen Generation Service

After months of negotiations, Congress has received the funding offer to deliver the Stolen Generation Service in Central Australia.

The Stolen Generation service provides an important service to families and individual affected by past removals including assisting Aboriginal people to reconnect with family members.

Congress has a strong commitment to maintaining the involvement of the Central Australian Stolen Generation Governing Committee members who will form part of a Steering Committee to help mobilise the service.

Congress has employed Geoff Evans as a consultant to help Congress establish the program over the next month.
