The Cancer Support Team aims to provide practical day-to-day support and assistance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people/families whilst they navigate the health and community support systems involved in and around a cancer journey.
This could include
- Attending appointments/treatment
- Liaising with medical and non-medical professionals
- Education and advocacy
How to access the service
Book a appointment to see your Congress doctor and ask them to make a referral to the Congress Cancer Support Team.

Referral is via the Cancer Support Team referral form and we accept referrals from any source including self-referrals from individuals seeking support.
