Ampe Kenhe Apmere Congress Childcare

Delivering fun and engaging learning programs in a rewarding environment, Congress’ Childcare centre is available to Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal children aged 6 months to 5 years.

Congress’ Early Years child-focused learning and health programs are delivered through a cultural adaptation of the Abecedarian Approach Australia (3a) focusing on language priority (with local languages embedded), conversational reading, enriched caregiving and learning games.

Ampe Kenhe Apmere is an accredited 65-place centre staffed with qualified early childhood educators, and has been assessed as meeting the national quality standard.

Children are welcomed into a safe, nurturing environment in age appropriate spaces. Our educators are engaged and committed to the children in their care, forming close bonds with families.

Ampe Kenhe Apmere offers long day care services for working parents and children are offered cooked meals during the day.

This service is fee-based but the child care subsidy may be available.
