March against Violence!
This coming Tuesday 10 December 2024 in Mparntwe (Alice Springs) Congress Ingkintja Male Health Service is leading a Men’s March Against Domestic Violence in Alice Springs and Central Australia.
This date coincides with the end of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence, and is Human Rights Day.
Ingkintja’s men are taking a stand against domestic violence. We are taking charge to tell all men that hurting women will not be tolerated anymore in our communities. Prominent speakers will join us on the day.
We’re inviting you and your organisation to walk with us in Mparntwe in solidarity for those impacted by domestic violence. We encourage services to come in uniform to show everyone that we are all ‘coming together’ against violence.
