Congress awarded Teppa Hill site for new Early Childhood Learning Centre

Late last month, Congress received advice from the NT Minister for Education, Eva Lawler MLA, that our tender for the Teppa Hill site was successful.

Planning is well underway for the establishment of a new Early Childhood Learning Centre to be located at the site.

The Congres Board of Directors endorsed the Arrernte name Arrwekele akaltye irretyeke ampere to represent the centre, meaning ‘all little kids will be learning and listening’.

Recruitment for the Centre Manager and Educational lead is almost complete. Family Support Worker positions are currently under consideration and recruitment is now active for all remaining positions including Educators, Cook and Transport and Engagement Officers.
