Congress 50 Strong: A FREE community event that celebrates the first 50 years of Congress.
Congress has lined up cultural performances, speakers and musical acts that speak right
to the core of our strong history – a history that belongs to you, our community!
As a part of Congress’ story, we would love you to come along.
WHEN: October 15. Gates open at 3pm. Program 4-10pm
WHERE: ANZAC Oval, Mparntwe
Featuring Welcome to Country, Cultural Dancing, Special Guest Speakers, PLUS musical acts:
Jason Lee Scott, Paul Ah Chee, Catherine Satour, Belkbala Mujik and Coloured Stone!
Don’t forget to bring
Your drink bottle to refill at Power & Water’s kwatye stations!
A hut and sunnies, and sun safe clothes
A rug or chairs – even a picnic if you want – there will be a bbq and food trucks with special price food
We acknowledge that this event is taking place the day after the referendum deciding about the Aboriginal Voice to Parliament.
This is a great opportunity for us to be strong together, no matter what the outcome.
We hope to see you at this family friendly community event.
No drugs, grog or smoking permitted. Drunk people will not be allowed to enter the venue.
