Youth Outreach
for young people aged 12 - 25

Don't be alone! Come to our place!

Be Strong... Talk about your problems
And make them right!
It's time to make a change!
Our community needs healing and we need each other!
Lets find the wisdom of the past and make a better future ...
Our way!

At Youth Outreach we offer:

ADVOCACY and SUPPORT
Being on your side
Speaking on your behalf
Standing up for you
Believing in you
Listening to you

Helping you go to school or find a job
Visiting you at home or at school to see how you are
Talking with your family
Going with you to places that might be scary or shame like court, Centrelink or Clinic 34
Helping you with alcohol or drug problems
Providing a safe place for you to go for help at night (Thurs-Fri)
Giving you someone to talk to privately about what's going on in your life (counselling)

It starts with you... We have youth workers and a youth counsellor. All you have to do is ask for help!

You can call us on 8958 3633

Drop in on Thursday, Friday or Saturday night between 8:30 & 10:30 for a safe place, a feed and a ride home. Or ask your family, teacher or the staff at Congress to help you get in contact with the Youth Outreach Team. We are in the WestPoint Building behind K-Mart Tyre and Auto.

Sometimes we know we need to make a change but we don't know how...
Sometimes life is heaps complicated and its hard to know what to do next...
Sometimes we need someone to talk to, someone to listen to us...
Sometimes we just need to feel like someone is on our side...
We all need help sometimes, so don't be shame to ask for it!!
