Directorate

Through the Director, the branch manages Congress’s external relations, including interagency matters.

It is involved in Aboriginal health development, including health system development, at the local, regional, NT and national levels.

Directorate develops health policy and provides policy analysis on health and social issues.

The Branch’s internal focus relates to supporting our programmes:

1. Through the Deputy Director’s liaison with all Branch Managers,

2. With program evaluation and strategic planning support including providing the evidence base for the program logic needed to ensure quality service development

3. Assisting branches and programs in health development work , and

4.
Ensuring that staff have access to political and cultural education programs.
