Bush Mobile

Program description

The Bush Mobile aims to provide Primary Health Care Outreach Service targeting Aboriginal people with chronic health conditions and to people living on outstations and key town camps.

Services include

* Ongoing management of people with chronic diseases;
* Treatment of minor health problems & injuries;
* Early detection of ear problems;
* Full immunisation for kids;
* Pneumovax & fluvax for adults at risk;
* STI screening;
* Provision & stocking of First Aid Boxes for outstations;
* Advocacy role on behalf of people living on outstations and town camps;
* Health Promotions.

The Bush Mobile can refer clients to:

* Specialist Services at Congress;
* Early Childhood Development Program;
* Male Health Program;
* Frail Aged & Disabled Program;
* Dental Clinic; and
* Hearing Program.
