Frail Aged & Disabled (FAAD)

Program description

The Frail Aged & Disabled Program (FAAD) provides regular medical care and support to eligible frail, aged and/or disabled Aboriginal people in the community

The Program works by:

1. Visiting people at home as they need it.
2. Providing care to Frail Aged & Disabled clients who wish to come to the clinic.
3. Assisting carers to access Carer’s pensions and respite services.
4. Organising home assessments by the Aged Care Assessment Team for home support or aids like rails and ramps.
